Describe a project you’re currently working on to a 5 year old.
I've been really into drawing people with one single oblong eye.
Your preferred method of getting that good creative vibe going.
It seems it must be late. I love working when everyone is asleep. I put on an Octavia Butler audio book and create in the deep quiet of the night.

One living artist or designer you want to have cocktails with.
Off the top of my head James Jean, he has always been an inspiration.
A piece of art in your home that you LOVE.
A painting by my friend Mike Strescino.

What drives you absolutely nuts about the (art) world?
I highly dislike that galleries and museums are not accessible to all people. Museums are costly which is prohibitive, and galleries can be elitist and intimidating. Art is for all and everyone deserves access.
A quote or lyric that your brain won’t shake.
“The more you control the less you impact.”
Most recent song you've been listening to on repeat.
Simo Lagnawi - The Gnawa Caravan
Last book you read that you couldn't put down.
Emergent Strategy: Shaping Change, Changing Worlds- Adrienne Maree Brown
Recent life upgrade that's been a game changer.
My mom gave me a very beautiful ring of jasper (cut by the legendary Hans Gamma) from the Oregon Country Fair. It is powerful and helps ground me.

What was the most memorable field trip you can remember?
Going to the Denver Art Museum when I was in middle school.
What podcast or show are you recommending that others may not have heard/seen?
If you could teleport to any bar right now, which bar would it be and what would you be drinking?
I think one that has yet to exist. One where it’s a flea market/bath house outside with tons of plants with super dreamy low lighting and there is a menu of herbal potions and elixirs without alcohol.

If someone asks you to cook your "specialty" - what are you cooking?
Probably a vegan bowl. You know a grain and lots of veggies and sauces all arranged colorfully!
Huge shout out to ______ for _____!
Lisa Rooney for being a great friend and collaborator!
